The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has inked a collaborative agreement with the China National Space Administration to work on peaceful missions that include the remote sensing of natural disasters and natural resources. The agreement is the first significant collaboration with China, although ISRO has had collaborative agreements with both Russia and the United States since its inception. The teams from the two countries have started work on spelling out the specifics of the plan, with a road map due by April 2015.
