SuperGIS Mobile Engine Application Selected by Regione Marche in Italy

Located in Macerata, Helix S.r.l. provides clients with services of geographic information and workflow management by merging its expertise in GIS, geology and territory management. Since procuring SuperGIS Mobile Engine 3, a mobile GIS Software Development Kit (SDK) which enables developers to create multiple GIS tools and embed them into diverse mobile applications, Helix S.r.l. has successfully
established HMMs.

Utilizing SuperGIS Mobile Engine 3, Helix S.r.l. develops HMMs, a software platform based on GIS & Mapping for Windows Mobile handheld devices. “We have implemented a new functionality supported by a web server for the localization of PDA, which enables users to exchange files within a defined group of user.” said Marco Mataloni, the Director of Helix S.r.l.. The basic version of HMMs includes a desktop application (HMMs Desktop) and one for the mobile device (HMMs Mobile Base). HMMs Desktop allows users to create and modify projects that can be operated by the software of HMMs Mobile. Besides performing projects, HMMs Mobile Base is featured with functions of map navigation and distance measuring, etc. With the solution, a smooth GIS workflow can be achieved effectively. This successful sale HMMs by Helix S.r.l. not only highlights the functions of SuperGIS software in development and application, but also further promotes SuperGIS series products over Italy. In the future, SuperGeo Technologies will keep developing more support functions of SuperGIS products to better serve the massive users in the global market.
