SPH Engineering Launches Free Drone Show Software Lite License to Empower New Creators

SPH Engineering, the drone show software developer, has announced the launch of the Drone Show Software Lite License, a free license tier that enables users to create and run synchronized drone light shows using up to 20 drones.

This release marks a major milestone in making drone shows more accessible to a broader audience, including hobbyists, students, educators, and small event teams who are just beginning their journey in aerial entertainment.

“The Drone Show Software Lite License is an invitation for a new generation of creators to enter the drone show industry,” said Ruben Martinez, Product Lead of Drone Show Technologies at SPH Engineering. “Our goal is to facilitate entry barriers and inspire innovation, while still providing the industry’s most robust and safety-focused software.”

With global interest in drone light shows surging across live events, tourism, advertising, and education, the Drone Show Software Lite license offers a unique opportunity to democratize access to professional tools. It also supports educational institutions and STEM programs looking to introduce drone-based projects without complex onboarding or licensing fees.
