The National Space Science Symposium 2022 is scheduled to be held between Jan. 31, 2022, and Feb. 4, 2022, with IISER Kolkota as hosting institute.

NSSS-2022 is a platform to provide a scientific forum for the presentation of new results and to discuss recent developments in space science, planetary exploration and space and ground-based astronomy programs/projects being pursued at various research institutions and universities in India.

To celebrate Space Science in India, several competitions are planned under NSSS-2022 outreach activities such as quizzes and art posters. These competitions are open for schools and college students throughout India.
