DOST, Telecommunication Firms Sign Deal

Montejo said the DOST’s NOAH Program aims to respond to the urgent need for a reliable flood warning system in all major river systems and watersheds in the country. It has seven major R&D components: Local sensors development, LIDAR-National 3D Mapping project, FLOODNET or flood modeling, Weather Media, Landslides and Geohazards analysis using-LIDAR, Doppler development, and Storm Surge Mitigation.
