Shahbaz Approves 120mw Taunsa Power Project

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has given approval to the proposals regarding the agreements for 120 megawatt Taunsa Hydro-Power Project and mapping of wind power potential in Punjab. He was presiding over a meeting of the Punjab Cabinet at the Chief Minister s Secretariat here on Sunday. The meeting also reviewed the law and order situation in the province and commended the performance of police over successful operation against the criminals involved in heinous crimes in the Kacha area of Rajanpur and expressed gratitude to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for providing equipment and logistic support during the operation.
