Intergraph Launches “Introduction to GeoMedia” Online Training Course

GeoMedia is a powerful GIS management package that enables users to realize the maximum value of their geospatial resources, integrating them to present clear, actionable information. It provides simultaneous access to geospatial data in almost any form, uniting them in a single map view for efficient processing, analysis, presentation and sharing. “Introduction to GeoMedia” is a four-hour course designed to provide students with a fundamental understanding of GeoMedia’s capabilities and functionality, enabling users to fully leverage its flexible features.

Attendees will participate in hands-on exercises under the tutelage of an Intergraph instructor, performing basic tasks such as connecting to data sources, working with map legends, adding and editing features, and buffering. During the course, Intergraph will provide users with remote access to a fully operational GeoMedia installation, so anyone with an Internet connection can participate. “Intergraph is committed to nurturing growth and innovation within the geospatial industry, providing tools and educational resources so the next generation of GIS and remote sensing professionals can seize opportunities within this burgeoning market and further advance the industry,” said Mladen Stojic, Vice President – Geospatial, Intergraph. “Our online training options complement our strong portfolio perfectly, providing the fastest, most cost-effective approach to getting started with your Intergraph products.”
