GEO Business 2020: Call for speakers launched

The call for speakers for GEO Business 2020 (20-21 May, Business Design Centre, London) is now open.

Geospatial experts are invited to apply to speak at the event, which typically attracts over 3,000 professionals from across the global geospatial industry.

With this ready-made audience, GEO Business offers speakers the perfect opportunity to share their knowledge and raise their profile in the geospatial community.

The two-day programme features 200+ free-to-attend presentations covering a variety of topics that demonstrate the impact geospatial innovation is having on our global environment.

Key topics: geospatial trends, technologies & applications

Event director Caroline Hobden says: “We’re particularly keen to receive seminar submissions that explain and contextualise the latest geospatial trends, technologies and applications. Tracks include Building Information Modelling (BIM), earth observation & satellite applications, GIS & big data, ground penetrating radar, laser scanning & LiDAR, mobile mapping, robotics & automation, smart cities, sustainability, UAVs/ drones, visualisation, augmented reality & virtual reality, and more.

“We’re also interested in seminars targeted at key sectors such as AEC, coastal, flooding, forestry, heritage, highways, mining, railways, surveying, utilities as well as those that offer practical how-to content, real-life case studies, and fresh angles on long-term challenges faced by the industry.
