GISinc Receives Esri’s ArcGIS Hub Specialty Designation

Geographic Information Services, Inc. (GISinc), the Premier GIS Services firm established in 1991 and an Esri Platinum Business Partner, received Esri’s ArcGIS Hub Specialty Designation for being ready to help new and existing customers get started with ArcGIS Hub.

What is ArcGIS Hub?

Per Esri’s ArcGIS Hub Website, “Part of Esri Geospatial Cloud, ArcGIS Hub is an easy-to-configure community engagement platform that organizes people, data, and tools through information-driven initiatives. Organizations of any type and any size, including government agencies, nonprofit groups, and academia, can maximize engagement, communication, collaboration, and data sharing using the ArcGIS Hub initiative-based approach. With ArcGIS Hub, organizations can leverage their existing data and technology and work together with internal and external stakeholders to track progress, improve outcomes, and create vibrant communities.”

GISinc Resources for ArcGIS Hub

In June, GISinc broadcasted a webinar series for the Esri Community called, “Going Beyond Release Ready Leveraging Esri’s Geospatial Cloud,” that showcased three of the most talked about technologies in advance of the Esri User Conference. One episode was devoted to ArcGIS Hub, “ArcGIS Hub: Centered Collaboration, Leveraged Visualization.” The entire series is now available for OnDemand viewing.

For those interested in getting started with ArcGIS Hub, GISinc offers an “ArcGIS Hub Jumpstart” package, currently available in Esri’s ArcGIS Marketplace as an option within GISinc’s “Premier GIS Services” marketplace listing. The GISinc ArcGIS Hub Jumpstart is designed to help organizations set-up, implement, and launch ArcGIS Hub. GISinc services include developing your community profile, enhancing the site creation process, expanding dashboards for tracking engagement—ultimately making it easier for the community and staff to leverage information.

“Our customers – customers (citizens) expectations around engagement have evolved immensely in recent years. Esri’s ArcGIS Hub is a perfect framework for helping agencies facilitate this engagement. We believe this can become really powerful when you align it to key organizational initiatives,” says Kevin Stewart, Senior VP of Sales at GISinc.
