Altamira Technologies Awarded as Prime Contractor on NGA Janus Geography Contract

MCLEAN, Va.- Altamira Technologies Corporation has been selected as a prime contractor on the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s (NGA) 10-year Janus Geography IDIQ contract. The Janus Program delivers geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) data management and enrichment support to a range of customers and partners within and outside of the US Government, including the Defense, Intelligence, and Homeland Security Communities.

Altamira’s experience providing geospatial data management in support of the national security community coupled with a forward-thinking approach to data science and product delivery distinguished their approach for delivering GEOINT support to the NGA. Altamira carefully selected a team of traditional and non-traditional partners that combine advances in data science and legacy NGA experience with expertise developing cutting-edge open architectures. Altamira’s commitment to driving accuracy and efficiency with innovative tools, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), will support the program’s focus on incorporating new technologies to maintain on-going modernization.

“The selection of Altamira as a prime contractor on the Janus Geography Program strengthens our partnership with the NGA, while also broadening our GEOINT support to end-users across the national security space,” said Jonathan Moneymaker, President of Altamira Technologies. “Through our work on the program, we will apply and expand our data analytics capabilities to deliver high quality, innovative geography products that meet the ever-evolving mission needs.”
