FLIR Announces C3 Thermal Camera

WILSONVILLE, Ore. – FLIR announced today that the FLIR C3 thermal camera for contractors is now available for purchase.

Unveiled earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the FLIR C3 is a ruggedized, pocket-portable, dedicated thermal camera ideal for home inspectors, real estate professionals, general contractors, and other trade professionals who need a powerful diagnostic tool.

With a bright, three-inch touchscreen, the FLIR C3 offers several features that make it a great option for the home professional’s toolbox. Equipped with both a visible and thermal camera, the C3 includes FLIR’s unique MSX® technology, which adds key details from the onboard visible light camera to the entire thermal image to create sharper thermal detail.

Additional pro-level thermal measurement features include higher thermal sensitivity for accurate temperature readings. Examples include the FLIR C3’s hot or cold spot feature, which helps users to quickly measure within a defined area box. Also included is a new picture-in-picture function so users can easily compare the thermal image against the visible image.

The FLIR C3 also includes Wi-Fi connectivity that makes image transfer easy. After connecting to a smartphone or tablet using the free FLIR Tools mobile app, users can instantly transfer images, build a report, and send them off to clients or colleagues from the jobsite, and even share unusual or noteworthy findings on social media.

The FLIR C3 retails for $699.99. Go to http://www.flir.com/c3 to purchase or find a distributor.  .
