COPENHAGEN, Denmark 15.09.2026 — Phase One today announced the release of its Next-Generation Aerial Systems, a new modular architecture designed to bring together leading camera, navigation, planning, flight management, housing, and processing technologies into one integrated user experience.
The new generation is built on Phase One’s latest high-resolution camera and processing workflow components, while further opening the system architecture to selected best-of-breed technologies. This brings together best-in-class technologies in a highly integrated aerial imaging solution without compromising image quality, operational efficiency, or usability.
At the center of the release is a broader modular ecosystem that combines Phase One imaging technology with advanced mission planning and flight management software, alternative IMU technology, climatized system housing, and Hybrid Motion Compensation (HMC) features developed to support sharper image capture in demanding high-speed operating conditions. The underlying system architecture supports iXM-FS130 and iXM-RS250 based three-band and four-band solutions and is designed to support additional camera configurations as the platform evolves.
While the Next-Generation Aerial Systems remain a Phase One offering, defined and delivered under the Phase One portfolio, the platform is strengthened by a carefully selected ecosystem of technology partners. Phase One continues to work with leading partners for critical system components, including Applanix for IMU technologies and Somag for stabilized mounts.
Through a strategic co-development partnership with IGI, the platform combines advanced imaging, navigation, mission management, and workflow capabilities into a highly integrated aerial mapping solution optimized for performance and usability.
For customers who require continuity, compatibility, or upgrade paths from existing system configurations, Phase One’s existing system components remain part of the current portfolio, including the Phase One iX Suite software portfolio, comprising iX Plan, iX Flight Pro, and iX Process, ensuring continued support for existing workflows and investments.

The first PAS TRANA systems will be ready for sale from October 1, with the 4-band configurations following by November 1. PAS TRANA will be available through Phase One’s global network of authorized partners, ensuring customers have access to local expertise, system configuration, integration, training and support.
