New Surphaser Model 400 with Scan Range up to 300 m and Sub-Millimeter Noise up to 160 m

Basis Software, Inc., is pleased to introduce the Surphaser Model 400 laser scanner. The new model builds on Surphaser product line of compact light weight scanners. The Surphaser 400 will be presented at the SPAR 3D Expo and Conference, Houston, Texas.

Model 400 offers extended range of up to 300 m while continuing to provide the data quality and sub-millimeter accuracy that has long separated Surphaser scanners from the competition. Two scanning speeds as a standard feature (208,000 and 832,000 points per second) with deep submillimeter noise at both speeds make Surphaser 400 a truly high speed high accuracy instrument. Just as current models 10 and 75, Surphaser 400 has an internal battery and onboard control. The two integrated 5MP cameras provide automatic color texture mapping with included software. With the weight of 5.5 kg (12 lb) it offers a compact, long range, highly accurate scanner for a multitude of applications from dimensional control to aerospace to asset management to AEC and BIM.

Surphaser 400 uses a Class 1 laser to capture a 360° x 270° field of view. 3D error of <0.9 mm at 15 m, range noise of <0.07mm at 1-30 m (90% albedo) at standard speed of 208,000 point per second and <0.2mm from 1 to 30 m at 832,000 points per second.

Special introductory pricing offered until end of May with deliveries starting in June 2017.

To find out more visit the Surphaser booth #414 at 2017 SPAR 3D Expo and Conference, April 3th to 6th, 2017.
