Flir Showcases Its Newly Launched Solutions for Transforming Reliability and Asset Management at SMRP 2025

Flir, a global leader in thermal and acoustic imaging and advanced test and measurement solutions, will demonstrate how it is revolutionizing reliability and asset management at the upcoming SMRP 2025 Annual Conference in Fort Worth, Texas.

Taking place October 6–9, this 33rd edition of the industry’s flagship event will bring together maintenance professionals for learning, networking, and inspiration. Flir will contribute through a dedicated workshop and live demonstrations at its booth in the SMRP exhibition hall.

The hands-on workshop will be led by industry expert Gregory Scales, Key Account Manager at Flir. His session, Ultrasound and Infrared Synergy, will focus on the tools and techniques that empower predictive maintenance (PdM) programs. Attendees will gain actionable insights they can apply immediately, with applications spanning rotating equipment, partial discharge detection, and leak detection. The workshop will take place in Room 202A on Monday, October 6 (8:00 AM to 12:00 PM).

Complementing the workshop, Flir will showcase its latest innovations in predictive maintenance at its booth. The highlight of these live demo sessions will be the newly launched groundbreaking Flir iXX app-enabled thermal camera, designed to cut workflow steps and reporting time by up to 50%. Built on Flir’s new ACE operating system, the portable iXX combines the power of third-party apps with a high-performance thermography inspection tool and delivers scalable, intuitive, and streamlined condition monitoring.

Seamlessly integrating with Flir Assetlink, the browser-based software that connects radiometric images to an asset-centric data hierarchy, the iXX accelerates workflows and provides real-time dashboards and trend analysis for smarter, reliability-focused decision-making.

In addition to the new iXX and Assetlink solution, Flir will display a wide range of predictive maintenance tools renowned for performance and reliability. These include:
• Ex Pro-Series thermal imaging camera for efficient troubleshooting and maintenance
• CX-Series uncooled thermal camera, certified for hazardous environments
• T-Series best-in-class infrared camera for advanced predictive and preventative maintenance
• Si2-Series acoustic camera for visualizing pressurized gas leaks, mechanical faults and partial discharge

Live demonstrations will be hosted by Rob Milner, Director of Global Business Development – Condition Monitoring at Flir. The demos will take place at Flir booth #634 at 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM on Tuesday, October 7, and at 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM on Wednesday, October 8. Visitors will experience firsthand how Flir solutions simplify workflows, empower teams, and deliver measurable results.
