The new version also reinforces 3D functionality adding a series of new commands and features for better 3D navigation and visualization: 3DWalk, 3DFly, 3DPositioner, SURFEXTRACTCURVE, the ViewCube command and new UCS creation through selection of a solid or a surface. Furthermore, progeCAD 2024 extends Table creation and management capabilities through a series of improvements and new features such as Excel data linking enabling data import/export from or to an Excel spreadsheet file, XLS Import, Blocks Preview in table cells and the new -Table command to insert tables without using a dialog box. And, as always, there are some new industry-specific features: the MAPINSERT command, the MAPIMPORT command to insert geometries from SDF, SQLite and SHAPE files or to use database server services like WFS, PostgreSQL or MySQL; Import IFC and REVIT with Layers, the GEOMAPSERVICE command, an improved geolocation function with a new dialog box to add a geographic location to a drawing.
