NEW SXblue SMART GNSS Smart Antenna

SXblue SMART, the newest addition to the GNSS smart antenna line!

In an effort to constantly improve its geomatics and surveying product offering, Geneq Inc. has just released the SXblue SMART to meet the requirements of professionals looking for accuracy and flexibility for field work.

The SXblue SMART features a GNSS engine capable of tracking all-in-view GNSS signals with high speed, saving time on the field. In addition, its mechanism and antenna design are at the forefront of interference mitigation technology and optimize its ability to handle a wide frequency band.

Weighing only 850g including battery, the SXblue SMART is a compact receiver that elegantly combines the accuracy, ruggedness and maneuverability needed for the most active surveying professional. Indeed, its layered design and integrated components are the basis for its performance and ergonomy. The surveyor will appreciate its radio link thanks to the Farlink protocol that allows a range up to 8km. This performance is achievable while keeping a large bandwidth useful for the transmission of RTK data.

In addition to the well-known tilt sensor for measurements in hard-to-reach places, the SXblue SMART features a high-performance attitude measurement module that can detect and measure the movement of the device. Also, its integrated inertial measurement unit adds a unique feature for even more accurate and stable measurements and increased productivity.

In addition to the IMU, the SXblue has a built-in thermometer sensor for monitoring and controlling the internal temperature. As well, its communication features have been improved compared to ils existing product line. This is the case with the NFC communication that facilitates close communication with the controller or mobile phone equipped with this technology.
