Azteca Systems Releases Cityworks 15.3

Cityworks–Azteca Systems announced the release of Cityworks 15.3, the latest version of the company’s web GIS-centric platform for public asset management. The new release features significant enhancements to support apps that streamline the care of public infrastructure, permitting, and property.

Cityworks is designed to help organizations manage public assets and their associated data, work activities, and business processes. This release supports end user functionality in Cityworks apps such as Performance Budgeting, Public Access, Operational Insights, and Storeroom. It also supports the release of Style 1.0, which allows users to customize the interface of other apps for their end users.

“This new release builds on our commitment to helping Cityworks users work smarter and more efficiently,” said Becky Tamashasky, vice president of product roadmap at Cityworks. “Our focus has always been on providing organizations with the best tools for improving public infrastructure, planning, operations, life cycle cost management, maintenance scoring, data collection, and analysis.”

As the leading GIS-centric public asset management solution, Cityworks continues to support seamless workflows between Cityworks and Esri. For example, Cityworks Mobile Native Apps 6.0, which will hit Android and Apple app stores in the coming days, allows the user to get turn-by-turn directions to an asset or work activity with the help of Esri’s Navigator for ArcGIS.

“The GIS-centric asset management framework helps communities become more resilient, sustainable, and safe,” said Brian Haslam, president and CEO of Cityworks. “That’s why Cityworks is built exclusively on Esri’s innovative ArcGIS technology. Together, Cityworks and ArcGIS help organizations work smarter to implement effective public asset management strategies for their communities.”
