Digital Map Products Announces Enhancements to GovClarity(R) with Fall 2016 Release

Digital Map Products (DMP), a leading provider of location technology and data solutions, today announced the Fall 2016 Release for its GovClarity application. The release includes improved performance, UI enhancements and Integrated Esri Feature Layers capability.

GovClarity is designed specifically for the unique needs of local government agencies such as cities, counties, regional associations and councils. Location information is critical to day-to-day operations and is the logical integration point for local government data, systems and activities. DMP’s GovClarity spatial data integration and interactive mapping platform provides a common system for agencies to access, create, analyze and maintain spatial data easily.

“Our goal with each release is to continually deliver new value to our local government customers,” said Jim Skurzynski, President and CEO at DMP. “For our 2016 GovClarity Fall Release, we’ve combined valuable customer feedback and industry best practices to enhance discoverability, speed to insights, and consumption of information.”

Better Performance and Speed with Streaming Features Layers (SFL)

GovClarity users will now experience faster and more responsive navigation with new Streaming Feature Layers, resulting in increased productivity when researching and analyzing location information. The new increase in performance behind the scenes will give government users the power to quickly search property ownership, assess the impact of a planned development, and ensure project compliance for better informed decisions.

More Discoverability with Upgraded, Configurable User Interface

New features such as Tooltips and the configurable Panel and Cards User Interface improve usability by optimizing user processes. Tooltips deliver rapid access to summarized property information and enhances research productivity. The new Panel and Cards UI streamlines how information is presented, explored, and consumed by users with the added benefits of creating unique workflows.

Integrated Esri Feature Layers

Organizations maintaining important proprietary data on Esri servers, whether on premise or in the cloud, will now have the ability to integrate the data on those servers into their GovClarity subscriptions. The new feature will enable customers to streamline their data integration process, remain in sync with changes to this data, while also maintaining confidentiality and privacy of these organizational datasets. The Integrated Esri Feature Layers is an add-on component for GovClarity accounts.
