Juniper Systems Limited to Exhibit Four New Products at InterGeo 2016

BIRMINGHAM, UK  – Manufacturer of rugged handheld data collectors,  Juniper Systems Limited, will be on show at  InterGeo 2016 next week with four new products to showcase. Perfect for various GIS, geomatics and geoinformation applications, Juniper Systems will demonstrate three new rugged handheld computers and a sub-meter GPS/GNSS receiver on Stand D1.046 in Hall A1.

‘This will be our third year exhibiting at InterGeo and we’re really looking forward to it’, commented Simon Bowe, general manager of Juniper Systems Limited. ‘It’s been an exciting year, and we’re very enthusiastic to demonstrate how our four new products can provide superior solutions to geomatics and GIS organisations operating in rugged field environments’.

Juniper Systems’ flexible, rugged data collectors are used by many types of geomatics organisations, from those in architecture to municipalities to urban planning. Wherever there is a need for reliable data capture, mapping, mobility, and stability in harsh environments, there is a solution from Juniper Systems.

The new  Mesa 2™ Rugged Tablet is the first handheld computer to run on the Microsoft® Windows® 10 operating system. It is powerful enough to use in place of a desktop computer, and provides access to abundant software options for data collection needs. The Mesa 2 is designed to perform reliably in harsh environments, and is the only IP-68-rated rugged tablet currently available.

The new  Geode™ is an all-in-one, sub-meter receiver that provides users with real-time, precision GPS/GNSS data at an affordable price. Designed with versatility, it features one-button simplicity and can be used with any of Juniper Systems’ rugged handhelds, and a wide range of Windows®, Windows Mobile, and Android® devices. The Geode is small and compact yet has an impressive IP68-rated protection against dust and water, and a wide operating temperature range for use in extreme heat and cold.

The new  CT7G Rugged Tablet is part of Cedar™ by Juniper Systems. Running on the Android® 6.0 OS, it amplifies the data collection process in tough environments. It has a large, 7-inch display and provides superior outdoor visibility, even in bright sun. Rated to IP-68, the CT7G tablet is waterproof, dustproof, and drop-tested onto concrete from three feet.

The new  CT5 Rugged Smartphone, also part of Cedar™ by Juniper Systems, is the next generation of rugged smartphone. Running on the Android® 6.0 OS, it features 3.0 GB of RAM. The 4.7-inch, capacitive, LCD panel makes navigation easy, and connectivity is provided via Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth®, GPS, GLONASS and FM Radio.

Also on Juniper Systems’ stand at InterGeo will be the second-generation  Archer 2 and  Allegro 2 rugged handheld computers, which are designed for precision data collection, fast data transfer, and use in extreme environments.

Attendees stopping by Stand D1.046 in Hall A1 will have the opportunity to experience these rugged products first-hand, and test the functionality and intuitive design of each. They can also interact with the friendly team at Juniper Systems Limited who will be on show at InterGeo to answer questions, demonstrate the products, and help people learn how to get the most out of Juniper Systems’ rugged computing solutions.
