City Finalizing Land Use Plan Amendments

The city government is now finalizing the amendments to update the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) which defines the utilization and uses of the city’s various zones. The updated CLUP will be the basis in the implementation of the city’s zoning ordinance or Ordinance No. 51 series of 2001 entitled “Revised Comprehensive Zoning Regulation for the City of Baguio.” Mayor Mauricio Domogan who heads the multi-sectoral body taking charge of the revision said that as agreed during the meeting held last Wednesday, a report will be submitted by the secretariat on the amendments adopted by the joint revision committees of the Local Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals and the Local Zoning Review Committee. The report will serve as basis in finalizing the revisions for adoption by the revision committee. The revisions will then be submitted to the city council for enactment of an appropriate ordinance to amend and update the CLUP.
