Vietnam’s Dong Nai 4 Power Plant Began Generating Energy

Dong Nai 4 hydropower plant yesterday began distributing power to the national electricity grid from its first operational turbine in a bid to ensure power stability and backup in the upcoming dry season in the South. Plant owner Electricity of Viet Nam (EVN) said the first turbine, which has the capacity to produce 170MW of electricity, successfully ran a trial of the turbine at idle speed earlier this month.
