Hazardous Freight Transportation To Be Controlled Using GLONASS

M2M Telematics, the leading Russian vehicle telematics solution provider, announced last week it has developed a distant control and surveillance system for hazardous freight transportation using GLONASS, the Russian satellite navigation system. The hazardous transportation solution, which had been ordered by the Federal Transport Supervision Service (FTSS) of the Ministry of Transport, was developed in partnership with NIS GLONASS, the Russian national provider of satellite navigation services.
