FAO Stands Ready to Assist Azerbaijan in Land Management

The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is ready to share its experience with Azerbaijan in the use and management of lands, FAO Deputy Director and Regional Representative for Europe and Central Asia Fernanda Guerrieri told reporters in Baku on Tuesday. Also FAO can assist Azerbaijan in combating animal and plant diseases that are spread on the borders with other countries. “It needs to help Azerbaijan increase knowledge and skills in this regard,” said Guerrieri. In addition, she said the issues of food safety during the export of manufactured products to international markets are very important, and the FAO can take an initiative to help Azerbaijan improve knowledge in this regard.
