The NSW Government will support development of a national rail technology plan to help strategically position the rail manufacturing industry for the future. The National Rail Technology Roadmap is a joint initiative between the Commonwealth Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (DIISR) and the State governments of NSW, Victoria and Queensland, together with the Australasian Railway Association. “The National Rail Technology Roadmap will examine technology developments in the rail industry globally to plan and help our manufacturing industry grow into the future,” Deputy Premier and Minister for Trade and Investment Andrew Stoner said.
