Viet Nam – Work Begins on Song Tranh No 4 Hydropower Plant

Construction of the Song Tranh No 4 Hydropower Plant kicked off yesterday in Que Luu Commune in the central province of Quang Nam. The VND1.6 trillion (US$76 million) plant is one of the projects set out in the national power system development plan for the 2006-15 period. The plant on Tranh River has a designed capacity of 48MW and will be able to produce 196 million kWh per year. Read More
