Malaysia National Physical Plan

The plan was approved by the National Physical Plan Council on April 26, 2006. The approval means, the plan needs to be a guideline for the physical planning and should be implemented at federal and states level throughout Peninsular Malaysia. Additional to that:

  • Policies of the National Physical Plan have to be consistent with the related sectors.
  • Recommendation of the National Physical Plan have to be precised at the State Structural Plan and Local Plan level in order be the basis for the development of all states, and
  • Proposals in the National Physical Plan also have to be guidelines by federal and state agencies in constructing projects and programs for the 5 Year Malaysian Plan.
