International Geospatial Society (IGS) Free Memberships

To join, simply add your professional profile to the growing interconnected network of geospatial specialists across the globe. Benefits of membership in IGS are listed at http://www.igeoss.org/benefits.

If you are a citizen of and resident in an economically disadvantaged nation and wish to take advantage of this free membership offer, simply follow these three steps:
    1. Register as an individual in the Geographic Information Knowledge Network at http://giknet.org (Click login in the upper right hand corner and Register for an Account if you do not have one).
    2. After establishing an account, login and under “My Submissions” submit your “Profile for an Individual.” Don’t forget to upload your photo. It may take a day or two for the moderator to approve your submission.
    3. After completing the form, fill out the International Geospatial Society Membership Application at http://www.igeoss.org/join. If you are located in a qualifying nation, the application form will expand to ask for the url for your GIKNet Individual Profile. Upon acceptance you will be listed on the membership roster at http://www.igeoss.org/members and your Bio will be automatically linked.

The listing of low and very-low income nations may be found at http://www.gsdi.org/RankingTable. To maintain your free membership, simply update your professional profile each year on or about December or January. You have the ability to view, edit, or delete your individual profile at any time.
