RICHMOND HILL, ONTARIO — The Applanix 2018 Airborne User Group Meeting has been scheduled to take place in Barcelona, Spain on November 27-29. The meeting is designed for Applanix customers to: benefit from advanced product training, learn about Applanix product plans, and engage in discussions directly with Applanix product experts – all while enjoying beautiful Barcelona, the enchanting seaside city with boundless culture, fabled architecture, and a world-class dining and entertainment scene.

“We believe this meeting is an important opportunity for our customers to gain knowledge of and expertise in Applanix products, as well as to become reacquainted with the Applanix organization. Applanix technical and management staff will be available to answer any of your questions,” said Eric Liberty, Director of Sales at Applanix. “Also, we need to hear from you – customer input is essential as we plan our future as a company.”

This year’s meeting will span three days, and has four specific goals:

  • To deliver informative training sessions on POSPac MMS and POSPac UAV, the APX series of boards, and POS products
  • To provide customers and partners with a platform for sharing their most recent projects and experiences
  • To facilitate networking opportunities to encourage growth and collaboration within the industry
  • To give customers a chance to experience the food, culture, and atmosphere of beautiful Barcelona

Sessions over the 3-day agenda will include: a Direct Georeferencing Workshop; discussions comparing manned versus unmanned aerial surveys, and advancements in scanning options; and invaluable training workshops with our expert Customer Support Team.

Registrants will save €100 off the Group Meeting’s regular price if they purchase before August 20th. The hotel is situated right on La Rambla in the heart of Barcelona, and two evening events are being scheduled to showcase local food, drinks, and entertainment. Not only will Applanix users receive valuable training and information from the event, they will also get the full experience of the beautiful Spanish city.
