Carrenza and Envita Announce Joint SAAS GeoINT Solution Partnership

London, December 10, 2015 Carrenza, the leading cloud services provider, and British geospatial information system technology experts Envitia, today announced a partnership that will see Envitia’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution available on the Government’s G-Cloud 7 framework.

Envitia’s GeoINT Suite is now available on Lot 3 of the G-Cloud framework via the Carrenza Cloud and will provide public sector organisations with an easy-to-implement, cloud-based way of accessing, managing and analysing vast amounts of geospatial data for the first time.

Carrenza and Envitia’s geospatial intelligence and data mapping solution will enable public sector users to search, discover and use geospatial information directly from their browsers.

Matt McGrory, Carrenza’s Managing Director, says: “We have enabled Envitia to offer an easy-to-use, out-of-the-box mapping and search solution that can support a range of users. It is secure, open and scalable, as all cloud-based technology should be and because it is hosted on the Carrenza Cloud it includes an added layer of advanced security.”

Envitia and Carrenza’s partnership is built on Carrenza’s proven track record of partnering with application providers to enable secure to Official level, highly resilient ‘as-a-Service’ solutions to both the public and private sectors.

Dr. Sharon Cooper, Envitia’s CEO, explains: “We were impressed by Carrenza’s commitment to delivering Official secure services to the public sector, as well as their proven track record delivering scalable and flexible solutions, via a channel partner model.

“Partnering with Carrenza means my team can focus on delivering our best of breed geospatial intelligence and data mapping services, and we can leave the infrastructure management to a trusted partner. The fact we are on the Carrenza Cloud has already opened a lot of doors.”

The new solution is likely to benefit a large number of Envitia’s public sector partners, who are keen to realise the benefits of using Envitia’s unique capabilities in the cloud.
