Trimble Opens Entries for the 2026 Construction Innovation Awards

Award program recognizes organizations leveraging technology to drive innovation, collaboration and operational excellence across construction

WESTMINSTER, Colo., June 15, 2026 — Trimble announced today it has opened applications for its annual Trimble Construction Innovation Awards program, recognizing innovators and educators driving transformation across the construction industry using Trimble hardware or software solutions. The program honors those who are utilizing technology and data in the office and the field to streamline processes, improve efficiency and shape the next generation of industry talent through education and advocacy.

“Trimble customers are proving every day that innovation happens when people embrace new ways of working, connect teams and data, and push the industry toward a more efficient and collaborative future,” said Ron Bisio, group president, field systems at Trimble. “We encourage organizations across the construction ecosystem to apply and share how they’re using technology to empower their teams, strengthen collaboration and drive meaningful impact across their business and projects.”

The awards program has expanded this year to include the new outstanding educator category, recognizing K-12 and higher education teachers who are preparing the next generation of industry leaders through innovative technology integration and career advocacy.

Eligible applicants include North American architecture, engineering, construction and geospatial firms utilizing Trimble hardware or software solutions, as well as K-12 and higher education educators driving technology integration in the classroom. Award winners will receive a complimentary pass to Trimble Dimensions, held November 9-11, 2026 in Las Vegas.

Award categories include:

  • Connected ecosystem: Demonstrates how the integration of two or more Trimble solutions — or Trimble technology combined with third-party solutions — enhanced quality, productivity, efficiency or other measurable benefits beyond what a single solution could achieve independently.
  • Process transformation: How Trimble technology improved a specific architecture, engineering or construction workflow or process.
  • Project success: How ingenuity and Trimble technology helped conquer unusual, extreme or unexpected challenges of a specific project.
  • Workforce achievement: Recognizes the people enabling innovation and the ways Trimble technology helps attract top talent, empower teams and inspire individuals to drive meaningful change across the industry.
  • Outstanding educator: Recognizes individuals in K-12 and higher education who are preparing and inspiring the next generation of architecture, engineering and construction leaders through technology and the advocacy of construction career opportunities.

2025 Trimble Construction Innovation Award recipients spanned construction related specialties and included companies of all sizes. Winners included Klorman Construction, JE Dunn, Central Builders, McCarthy Building Companies, Dvorak LLC, and Apex Structural Design. Runners up were Yates Construction, Janotta & Herner, T.S. Raulston, PCL and CAP Engineering.

Nominations are due by August 14, 2026. A panel of Trimble and industry experts will evaluate the applications and select the winners.
