Synspective’s Eighth SAR Satellite Successfully Reaches Target Orbit and Spreads Its Wings

Synspective, a SAR satellite data and solutions provider, announced the successful deployment of its eighth SAR satellite, StriX, the latest addition to its growing constellation.

The “Eight Days A Week” mission has taken flight, enhancing the company’s ability to deliver persistent Earth observation capabilities to customers worldwide.

The satellite was launched into orbit by Rocket Lab’s Electron rocket from Launch Complex 1 on New Zealand’s Mahia Peninsula on March 20, 18:10 (UTC). Over the coming months, Synspective will conduct testing and commissioning to verify the satellite’s observation capabilities before entering service.
