AGI Announces Foresight Conference 2025

The Association for Geographic Information, the membership group for organisations and individuals working in geospatial, has announced a first-of-its-kind event in the UK geo calendar.

It can also reveal that Ed Parsons, Geospatial Technology Advisor and Google’s first ever Geospatial Technologist, will present a keynote presentation at the AGI Foresight Conference 2025, and will be joined on stage by representatives from Amazon Web Services, AtkinsRéalis, Idox Geospatial, and 1Spatial.

The AGI Foresight Conference will take place on 13 November 2025, at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) in London. The culmination of a 12-month project exploring the opportunities and challenges for the geospatial sector over the next five years, the event will feature other high-profile presentations from leading figures across government departments, international agencies, and global tech companies.

The event is expected to sell out quickly and, with discounts available for early bookings, AGI members, and students, interested delegates are being urged to act now to secure their place.
