SatSure and Dhruva Space partner up to deliver end-to-end EOaaS solutions

A partnership between two key players in India’s space sector will allow them to offer comprehensive, homegrown Earth Observation-as-a-Service (EOaaS) solutions by integrating their upstream and downstream capabilities. Bengaluru-based SatSure, a leading Earth observation (EO) and decision intelligence company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hyderabad-based Dhruva Space, a full-stack space solutions provider.

By combining the advanced analytical expertise of SatSure subsidiary KaleidEO with Dhruva Space’s capabilities in small satellite platforms and subsystems, the collaboration aims to serve both strategic and commercial markets with reliable, fully integrated support for space-based observation needs, delivering high-quality, end-to-end EOaaS solutions.

Actionable intelligence

Prateep Basu, founder and CEO, SatSure, said: “We are very excited to be joining forces with Dhruva Space, which will enable us both to harness the best of Indian ingenuity and technological prowess. This partnership is poised to boost our sovereign EO capabilities and create a complete package for end customers who need both high-quality data and end-to-end solutions.”

Strengthening EO capabilities

SatSure, recognized for its demand driven approach to expanding space technology adoption among non-traditional commercial users, launched its subsidiary KaleidEO in 2022. Since then KaleidEO has developed two high-resolution optical and multispectral payloads, strengthening SatSure’s position in Earth observation capabilities.

Meanwhile, Dhruva Space, which has established a strong track record in space systems over the past four years, is significantly expanding its manufacturing capacity. The company is building a 280,000-square-foot spacecraft manufacturing facility in Hyderabad – the first of its kind in India – designed to handle the design, engineering, assembly, integration and testing of spacecraft up to 500kg. This expansion responds to the rising global demand for satellite platforms and space-enabled services across both strategic and commercial markets.
