GeoPoint Surveying Updates Trade Name and Brand to Represent Expanded Capabilities

TAMPA, Fla. — GeoPoint Surveying announced today that it has updated its trade name to “GeoPoint” in order to better represent the breadth and depth of its services and capabilities within the construction and engineering industries.

Celebrating 15 years in business this month, GeoPoint has grown into one of the largest privately held surveying companies in the Southeast. The company initially established itself as the leader in land surveying in the Tampa, Florida region. Since then, the GeoPoint team has demonstrated the foresight and resources to expand their service offerings to meet industry demand and fill voids in the market where competition was lacking. Today, from a network of office locations, GeoPoint offers capabilities beyond their initial land surveying services, including 811 locating, subsurface utility engineering, geospatial technologies, and more.

“Our land development and construction customers have come to depend on the reliability of our work and the standard-setting service of our team, which means we get to move on to the next big project with them,” said Justin Brantley, co-owner and Executive Vice President and Director of Field Operations at GeoPoint. “Being part of that network, we’ve seen many opportunities to expand our capabilities to meet industry demand over the years — and we’ve taken the leap.”

GeoPoint will begin using its new trade name this month as the company continues to roll out a refreshed logo and brand across its digital presence in the coming weeks.

“We felt that our 15th anniversary was the perfect time to align our visual identity with our core values to reflect who we are today and where we are headed in the future,” said David Williams, co-owner and President of GeoPoint. “We are dedicated to evolving our company to best serve the needs of our growing portfolio of projects and customers, as well as the personal and professional enrichment of our employees.”

With contracts on numerous high-profile projects and relationships with national homebuilders and land development companies, GeoPoint has been growing its footprint in the southeast with strategic office locations positioned throughout Florida, Alabama and South Carolina. This land and expand approach has proven successful for the company that began as a start-up in 2009 after the housing market bubble burst and several well-established survey companies closed their doors, creating opportunity for the newcomer.

GeoPoint’s gold-standard reputation in the Florida construction, civil engineering, and land development industries is due to its exceptional staff and dedication to continuous innovation to meet the demands of today’s land development needs. The company has been awarded: ‘Fast 50’ top growing companies and ‘Best Places to Work’ by the Tampa Bay Business Journal; ‘Top Work Places’ by USA Today; ‘Top Work Places’ for the Construction Industry and ‘Culture Excellence’ by the Tampa Bay Times.
