Axelspace Secures $44 Million in Funding to Expand Satellite Constellation and Offer Small Satellites for Other Applications

Japanese Earth observation company Axelspace has successfully raised nearly $44 million in a Series D funding round to boost its satellite constellation expansion plans and provide small satellites for various applications. The Tokyo-based firm, which was established in 2008, has garnered a total of 14.3 billion yen in funding over the years, with its latest round seeing participation from multiple Japanese companies and venture funds.
