Former Trimble Sales Executive Bob Flaherty Joins Locusview as Vice President of Sales

Locusview, a pioneer in digital construction management (DCM) for utilities, recently welcomed former Trimble executive Bob Flaherty as its new Vice President of Sales. Bob joins Locusview’s North American sales team, working with Chuck Lang, who was recently promoted to Senior Vice President of Global Sales.

With over 20 years of experience in the utility industry, Bob brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Locusview team, having previously led product development/strategy, marketing, professional services/delivery, client success, and sales teams.

“We are thrilled to have Bob join our team,” said Locusview Co-Founder and CEO Shahar Levi. “His experience and leadership in the utility industry will be invaluable as we continue to grow and expand our business through our sales team and partner network.”

Bob was formerly a CIO for a utility billing/CIS/asset management company. While in that role, he was part of Esri’s cross-vendor team tasked with creating “industry standard” utility geospatial network connectivity data models.

He then helped launch Trimble’s utility practice before working nine years at Oracle utilities. At Oracle, he helped drive early adopters of Oracle’s Smart Grid-related utility solutions and data science platform.

Pre-pandemic, Bob returned to Trimble Utilities to oversee its North America Electric, Gas, Water & Wastewater operations. While in this role, Bob led Trimble sales, pre-sales, inside sales, partner channel, and delivery teams working with multi-billion-dollar Tier 1 utility companies.

Bob is excited about the opportunity to join Locusview and contribute to the company’s continued success. “Increasing regulatory pressures and investments in infrastructure have magnified the critical need for utilities to connect their physical and digital worlds. I am honored to join such a talented team and look forward to helping drive customer value with our DCM solution in the utility space,” Bob said.
