SuperMap Showcased GIS Technologies and Solutions at INTERGEO 2022

Beijing  – SuperMap, an innovative provider of GIS platform software and services, presented its state-of-the-art GIS technology and innovative solutions to the global geospatial community at INTERGEO 2022, held in Essen from October 18th to 20th.

INTERGEO is the world’s leading platform for exchange, learning and networking between people from the geosector. At INTERGEO 2022, SuperMap presented the application of digital twins, including its complete solutions for 3D data acquisition and data integration into warehousing. Another highlight was the development of 3D GIS technology. Along with connection and processing functions for oblique photogrammetry data and BIM data, data beautification and analysis possibilities based on SuperMap’s game engine plug-in were presented. Visitors were shown the application of drones in emergency security, land inspection and city management integrated with SuperMap’s latest geo-video capture technology.

The three-day event brought together representatives of the geodata industry. It was all a pleasure to meet people from countries like Spain, France, Netherlands, Romania, Italy, Colombia, Brazil, Switzerland, Germany, Serbia, Norway, Croatia, Latvia, Togo, Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana and Israel and to talk to them about closer cooperation.

SuperMap was also represented at many face-to-face events. SuperMap Vice President Wang Haitao attended the opening ceremony of the 2022 Zhejiang Service Trade (Germany) Exhibition and gave a welcome speech.

It was a great honor for SuperMap to welcome the two Presidents of the Fédération Internationale des Géomètres (FIG, “International Association of Surveyors”) at the SuperMap booth. Wang Haitao thanked Prof. Dr. Rudolf Staiger, the President of the FIG, for his active support at the GIS Software Technology Conference and International Workshop on GIS Technology and Applications hosted by SuperMap President-elect, Dr Diane Dumashie, commended the progress SuperMap has made SuperMap was also invited to attend the FIG handover event. The FIG is one of the most influential global organizations in surveying and related disciplines. SuperMap has been in close contact with the FIG for years and have jointly run many international geospatial events.

In the future, SuperMap will continue to strive to open up the international market, provide more customers with professional and high-quality products and technologies, establish closer ties with the global GIS community, and delve deeper and more comprehensively into the development trend of the whole GIS industry to integrate.
