GeoCom 22 Registration Opens with Early Bird Discounts

London, 29 June 2022 – The Association for Geographic Information has announced that registration for its

flagship event GeoCom has opened with early bird savings of up to 50 percent. As the UK membership organisation for companies and individuals working in the geospatial sector, the Association for Geographic Information has themed this years’ conference around the topic ‘Sustainability in a changing world’. The Association is currently working on an exciting programme of keynote speakers, topical presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities and tickets are on sale with discounts for members, students and early bird bookings.

The one-day conference, which is open to members and non-members alike, will be held at the Royal Geographical Society in London on the 11th of October 2022. Adam Burke, Chair of the Association for Geographic Information, commented, “GeoCom is the AGI’s flagship event, and the largest independent event in the UK GI calendar that is organised for geospatial professionals by geospatial professionals. As this will be the first in person event for two years, we are determined to make it as relevant, informative, stimulating and accessible as possible.

“The theme we have chosen for this year’s conference ‘Sustainability in a changing world’ is designed to encompass, embrace and explore the challenges society is addressing and the vital role of geographic data and technology.
