The Urban Planning Department of the Government of Umm Al Quwain, located in the northern part of the United Arab Emirates, regulates all housing and building structures within the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, in line with the building code, issuing building permits accordingly.
The local government department currently comprises 80+ part-time CAD users who are constantly reviewing drawings within their CAD master-file, which is a large and complex spatial drawing of the entire Emirate.
