DRONE VOLT presents its drone solutions for power line inspection at the American IEEE PES T&D exhibition

DRONE VOLT, expert in embedded artificial intelligence and manufacturer of professional civil drones, presents its range of drones, sensors and cameras dedicated to the electrical distribution and transmission sector at the American IEEE PES T&D reference exhibition in New Orleans from April 26 to 28, 2022 – Booth n° 3555.

At the DRONE VOLT area of this exhibition, visitors can discover for the first time the fleet of business drone solutions specifically developed for professionals in the electrical distribution and transmission sector. The use of dedicated expert drones offers three major advantages: the reduction of inspection costs, the limitation of human risks related to interventions and the reduction of the carbon footprint.

The professional drones presented, equipped with sensors, cameras or payloads specially adapted to the maintenance of energy infrastructures, make it possible to inspect and model electric lines and pylons that are difficult to access, to map the areas where new lines are to be installed, but also to facilitate the wiring of electric lines.

The HERCULES 20

This large carrier is an ideal auxiliary for assisting in the pulling of ropes or, when equipped with its winch, allows the transport of equipment weighing up to 15 kg on construction sites or in areas that are difficult to access.

The ALTURA ZENITH and its CoroCam

The Corocam 8 camera combined with the ALTURA ZENITH UAV, allows to simultaneously perform IR and UV inspections of high and very high-power lines. This camera combines three technologies: real imagery, radiometric thermal infrared imagery and complementary Ultraviolet imagery, to quickly identify possible equipment failures.

The conceptual LINEDRONE

This drone is dedicated to the inspection of high voltage power lines. It is unique in its kind, as it can perform very precise measurements on active lines by means of sensors while avoiding the interruption of electricity service.

The LRS HEPLIPLANE

This VTOL is very durable and can fly for up to 210 minutes and cover up to 300 linear km. It is perfectly adapted to the inspection of energy infrastructures such as electrical networks.

Aquiline Drones’ SPARTACUS HURRICANE

This very compact and rapidly deployable drone carries a 10x optical zoom camera for precise inspection of energy infrastructures
