Tim Saultz brings with him more than three decades of experience managing strategic programs at scale with the USGS

Hollywood, Florida – NV5 Geospatial, one of North America’s most comprehensive providers of geospatial solutions, today announced the appointment of Tim Saultz as Senior Program Manager-Government Markets. With over 30 years of experience as a cartographer for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and 15 years spent managing Geospatial Products and Services Contracts, Saultz brings to NV5 Geospatial extensive experience leading strategic programs at scale for one of the world’s largest and most sophisticated science-based organizations.

“I am very pleased to welcome Tim to the NV5 Geospatial team,” said Mark Abatto, President and COO of NV5 Geospatial. “Tim’s vision and skill set demonstrated over his impressive career with the USGS contributed to the enormous success of programs that included the 3D Elevation Program (3DEP), 3D Hydrography Program (3DHP), Geophysical Data Acquisitions, and NGP Inland/Coastal Bathymetry.”

NV5 Geospatial, which prides itself on being at the forefront of client service, innovation, and thought leadership in the industry, sees Tim’s appointment and background as a natural fit. According to Abatto, “Tim has dedicated his career to programs that advance the scientific understanding of a rapidly changing world. At NV5 Geospatial, we often deliver solutions to our clients where the environment and infrastructure intersect. We are excited about the insight and creativity Tim will bring to our solutions and the service we provide to our clients.”

“Joining NV5 Geospatial is an exciting next chapter for my career,” said Saultz. “In my work with the USGS, I got to see and work with NV5 firsthand and was very impressed with their technical knowledge, resources, and people. I look forward to the work ahead and continuing my relationships with many I have known in the geospatial industry for decades.”

Saultz received a B.S. in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Missouri and has received hundreds of hours of formal training in all aspects of federal contract and grant activities and federal supervisory duties.
