Esri Joins GEOBIM 2020 Conference

REDLANDS, Calif.-Esri, the global leader in location intelligence, announced today that it will join this year’s virtual GEOBIM conference December 3–4. Esri is a platinum sponsor of this year’s event, where experts from Esri will exhibit, present in the plenary session, and participate in a roundtable discussion on the importance of providing geographic context to (Building Information Modeling) BIM content.

With the emergence of digital twin technology that connects the physical and digital world, a geospatial perspective has never been more important in BIM processes. Geographic information systems (GIS) applications can be integrated into any phase of the project life cycle, from planning, design, permitting, and field operations to program and construction management.

At GEOBIM 2020 Esri staff and customers will discuss how the integration of GIS and BIM data and software enables architects, city planners, builders, and civil engineers to create resilient environments for future communities.
