Safeture expands corona virus tracker with unique regional maps

Safeture AB’s corona virus exposure tracking software now includes a new map tool for global security managers to zoom in and track the risk exposure down to 5,000 subregions around the world. This risk map is crucial for companies concerned about their employees’ safety, and it is an essential tool to be able to continue global operations during the corona virus outbreak.

For global companies to effectively manage the corona risk, they need to track the potential exposure of their workers to the coronavirus, now impacting countries around the world. Identifying which employees have been in high-risk areas is critical to effectively containing the spread of the sickness.  The latest innovation from Safeture gives access to a unique centralized map that shows a detailed level of exposure risk in local subregions for each country. Currently, such precise information, when it exists, is scattered between many different sources in multiple languages. Safeture now gathers, translates, processes, and edits that information each day, so its database gives users centralized information from one trustworthy source.

“This is about company and society resilience and the safety of employees. To be able to make informed decisions is crucial right now, and the Safeture Corona Exposure Tracker is a valuable tool in the toolbox to help businesses continue while at the same time being able to reduce employee concerns,” said Magnus Hultman, CEO of Safeture.

The map is integrated with the standard Safeture employee mapping security tool that automatically correlates employee locations and enables mass communication for areas affected by the virus. The map is updated daily, and countries with more than approximately 50 active cases are mapped into sub-level regions.

Safeture is offering its employee safety software to any company looking to track the potential exposure of their workers to the coronavirus, now impacting countries around the world. The software will be available for free for 40 days, which is the most critical time to act to limit the spread of the virus. Potential external costs related to importing travel bookings and accessing company travel data are not included.
