USGIF to Host Geospatial Job Fair in St. Louis for the First Time

Herndon, Virginia— The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) will host its GEOINT Community Job Fair in St. Louis, Mo., for the first time on Monday, Oct. 7.

The event, to take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the America’s Convention Center Complex, is free for jobseekers to find the employers that match their skills and dedication to the geospatial community. USGIF is also still accepting applications from hiring organizations.

Geospatial talent and jobs have become widely sought in St. Louis more recently as the area evolves into a hub of geospatial innovation. With the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s (NGA) Next NGA West campus in development and more industry partners making their mark in the city, geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) has catapulted forward, putting St. Louis on the map for geospatial excellence.

“USGIF has hosted its GEOINT Community Job Fair for several years in the D.C. area, where it has been well received by jobseekers and employers alike,” said Jeff Ley, USGIF’s Vice President of Business Development and Exhibitions. “We are thrilled to be offering this event in St. Louis for the first time and look forward to helping talented professionals connect with both startup and legacy companies as well as NGA.”

Participating organizations include CEdge Software Consultants, Esri, Geo Owl, Guidehouse, ICES, Knowledge Link, Leidos, NGA, OGSystems (a Parsons Company), Perspecta, Quick Services, SAIC, T-Kartor, and teKnoluxion.

The Job Fair is part of USGIF’s larger Geospatial Gateway Forum, taking place in St. Louis Oct. 7-9 and also featuring an unclassified workshop, classified tech day at NGA Campus West, networking opportunities, a STEM event, and more.
