In this dual role, Mr. Kruimel will concentrate on expanding the reach of both the CARIS and Optech product portfolios, as well as continuing to provide seamless service and support for existing clients in the regions.

“I am extremely pleased to welcome Dan back to the group,” said Andy Hoggarth, Director of Sales and Business Development – Teledyne CARIS. “His experience in both the hydrographic and lidar industry brings a unique skillset to our combined team. After beginning his career working for a land and hydrographic survey company, he joined Teledyne CARIS in 2011 as a Technical Support Consultant, primarily focused on HIPS and SIPS™ and Bathy DataBASE™. He was integral in the implementation of CARIS software solutions across the APAC region including the Royal Australian Navy, Port of Melbourne Corporation, and National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA) of New Zealand. In 2013, Mr. Kruimel joined AAM and managed projects with the Singapore Government’s 3D National Map Initiative including a 5,500km mobile mapping survey and a combined aerial imagery and lidar survey in Singapore’s challenging airspace.
