Denver-based space startup Atomos Nuclear and Space wins a $100,000 investment from Investor Steve Case today

Tonight, Denver-based startup Atomos Nuclear and Space won a $100,000 investment from Steve Case’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund during the evening Florida Space Coast pitch competition.   With the manufacture and operation of spacecraft that leverage nuclear power and propulsion systems, Atomos is building an in-space transportation network that will allow enterprises and explorers to expand their business in space and reach new destinations. Atomos is pioneering the commercialization of nuclear technologies for space exploration and development.

Revolution’s Rise of the Rest startup bus tour visited the Space Coast on April 30th led by Revolution chairman/CEO and AOL cofounder, Steve Case, and Hillbilly Elegy author and Revolution managing partner J.D.
