Ecobot Partners with Esri to Provide Rich Mapping Capabilities to Field Scientists

ASHEVILLE, NC — Ecobot, the developer of transformative environmental data reporting software, has announced a partnership with Esri, the global leader in location intelligence, offering the most powerful mapping and spatial analytics available. The partnership enables the addition of familiar geospatial modeling, mapping, georeferencing and data collection capabilities to Ecobot.

Via the Esri Startup Program, Ecobot receives access to ArcGIS online services, software development tools, ready-to-use content, training, technical support, and global partnership opportunities to help integrate best in class mapping and location components.

“We’re thrilled to begin this partnership with Esri,” says Lee Lance, CEO of Ecobot. “Our Chief Scientific Officer, Jeremy Schewe, has been using Esri tools for over a decade. Esri’s technology and data will further enable our customers to conduct wetland delineations with unparalleled efficiency.”

Jeff Hicks, CEO of FernLeaf Interactive, a provider of climate resilience decision support solutions, introduced Ecobot to the Esri Startup Program team, saying: “The Esri Startup Program has been transformative for our company, and I know it will be for Ecobot too.” Both companies have offices at The Collider, a global innovation center for climate entrepreneurs.

“Esri is excited to have Ecobot join our cohort of Emerging Business Partners, we look forward to showcasing the benefits provided by their extended field collection solution and valuable data integrations,” said Katie Decker, Esri Startup Program, Community Manager.

An Early Access Program is available through the end of March for companies performing regulatory wetland assessments. Schedule a demo to be considered for the program at: ecobotapp.com
