Verus Technology Group Receives its First Multi-Million-Dollar Purchase Order for its Mobile Drone Detection Product

ASHBURN, Va.– Verus Technology Group Inc. (VERUS), today announced that it received its first individual multi-million-dollar purchase order from U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) for its next-generation SkyView-MP Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (CUAS).  VERUS is honored to have SkyView selected by USSOCOM to provide essential UAS detection capabilities to mitigate the threats posed by small unmanned aircraft systems.  VERUS has delivered a small number of its SkyView-MP V2 systems to other customers and has already started shipments for this significant order.

SkyView CUAS systems provide operators with long-range detection and tracking of small unmanned aircraft systems (e.g. drones). VERUS’s technology has been independently tested and validated at military test ranges around the world in both urban and non-urban environments.  The first production unit was delivered in 2017 and since then, more than 60 SkyView systems have been purchased and deployed globally by multiple U.S. Government entities.

About Verus Technology Group

VERUS is a small, employee-owned technology firm in Ashburn, VA.  In 2015, VERUS initiated an IR&D effort to develop a CUAS system that was both affordable and provided mission-relevant performance.  In 2016, VERUS participated in multiple demonstrations and independent evaluations of the capability that resulted in the first sale and delivery of its fixed-site SkyView-DI system in 2017.

VERUS has realized growth in revenues and profits through both repeat and new customer sales of its SkyView systems.  Solid financial performance combined with corporate agility and continuous feedback from a broad customer base has enabled VERUS to increase its IR&D investments and develop timely enhancements and new products to address this evolving threat.
