GEO Jobe will be at the 2018 Esri GeoConX Conference; where Electric, Gas, and Telecomm converge

OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – GEO Jobe is pleased to announce we will be exhibiting at this year’s GeoConX Conference. This event, which will take place November 5-8 in Dallas, Texas, is an important opportunity for mapping professionals in utility industries. Each year, it draws attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, and presenters from a number of sectors, including electric, gas, telecommunications, and local government. As we provide solutions for these sectors, a team from the GEO Jobe Center for Research and Engineering in Gulfport, MS will be exhibiting; you can find us at Booth #328.

Esri GeoConX is an industry-leading event where professionals from Esri’s Electric, Gas, and Telecommunications communities converge. It is a great opportunity to network, collaborate, and learn. While at the conference, we’ll be available to answer questions, provide product demos, and discuss custom solutions built on the ArcGIS platform. The team will be sharing and demonstrating the company’s solutions, including the award-winning Admin Tools for ArcGIS (Free, Pro, and for Portal), GEOPowered Cloud Managed Services, security.manager ArcGIS Edition, and other new solutions. David Hansen, GEO Jobe’s COO, will be on hand to discuss GEO Jobe’s software development, custom implementations, enterprise solutions, cloud hosting, and managed services options. Additionally, attendees interested in aerial mapping and UAV data collection solutions will have a chance to discuss solutions that our UAV Services Group can provide.

Managed Services

Visitors to Booth 328 can learn how to “host your ArcGIS Enterprise license using our GEOPowered Cloud Managed Services. It’s all the power of ArcGIS Enterprise with none of the hardware hassle. We set it up for you, and you use it how you want!” David Hansen notes how, for the customer, this means 100% access to all the power of ArcGIS Enterprise leveraging Amazon EC2 technology combined with access to our experts (setup and support). This means you don’t have to wear multiple hats and also be an AWS expert. That’s where David and the team of experts come in. See more at http://www.geo-jobe.com/geopowered-cloud/managed-services/.

UAV Services

The GEO Jobe team will be available to answer questions about the company’s growing UAV and aerial mapping services group. To date, GEO Jobe UAV has completed more than 1,500 miles of UAV data collection! GEO Jobe has a dedicated team of licensed UAV pilots to support work with new and existing clients. We can support a wide variety of industries including utilities (electric, oil and gas, water), local government, agriculture, construction, real estate, and facilities management. security.manager ArcGIS Edition

Just prior to the 2018 ESRI UC, we shared details of a new partnership with our colleagues at con terra – a leading provider of GIS software and professional services in Europe. Through this partnership, GEO Jobe now offers security.manager to our extensive base of existing customers, as well as to new customers, both in the US and globally. security.manager extends the security model of ArcGIS, allowing GIS Administrators to define permissions not just at the service level, but also at the layer, feature, and even spatial level. Attendees are encouraged to visit with GEO Jobe to learn more about security.manager and how to extend ArcGIS for Server with enhanced security. See more at www.geo-jobe.com/security-manager
