Esri Business Partner, GEO Jobe GIS, at the 6th Annual Mississippi Geospatial Conference

OLD HICKORY, Tenn.- GEO Jobe is pleased to be involved as a supporter and sponsor of the 6th annual Mississippi Geospatial Conference, taking place October 11-12, 2018 at the University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Park Campus in Long Beach, MS. Representing GEO Jobe at this local conference is GEO Jobe COO David Hansen, along with 6 members of the GEO Jobe team.

The GEO Jobe team will be available to answer questions, provide product demos, and discuss custom solutions built on the ArcGIS platform. Additionally, attendees will have an opportunity to learn about what’s new with the company’s popular solutions including, the award-winning Admin Tools for ArcGIS Online (Free, Pro, and for Portal), Mapfolio, the GEOPowered Cloud Managed Services, and custom technologies supporting users of Esri’s ArcGIS Online.  Hansen and the GEO Jobe team will be on hand to answer questions about GEO Jobe software development and custom solutions, partnership opportunities, and experiences with the ArcGIS Marketplace.

For those interested in drone and UAV technology, the team will be available to discuss the company’s UAV and aerial mapping services. GEO Jobe has 5 licensed UAV pilots supporting our work with clients from utilities (electric, oil and gas, and water), local government, campus planning, agriculture, insurance, construction, real estate, and other facilities. The UAV group supports solutions that span custom GIS development, web mapping, aerial mapping, 3D data, and cloud-hosted solutions via our GEOPowered Cloud Managed Services, the perfect integration with UAV data projects!

Planned Activities:

• GEO Jobe COO, David Hansen, will be presenting a talk titled “Professional Adaptation to Change in Geospatial Technology”
• GEO Jobe Jr. Application Developer, Courtney Kirkham, will provide a talk titled, “Do Your Homework: Techniques and Resources for Self Learning”
• A session titled, “Using Esri Calcite to Improve User Interface Development” will be presented by our Sr. Front-End Engineer, Eric Goforth.
• Daniel Menikheim will present a session titled “Project Management for Geospatial Application Development Using the Agile Methodology”
• The GEO Jobe team will be available at the event social for one-on-one conversations with clients.

This important annual event runs for 2 days and features networking, a social event, exhibitors, and a number of presentations designed for geospatial technology professionals, students, and geotech enthusiasts.
